Our range of Type H vacuum cleaners for hire have been purposely designed and built to safely and effectively pick up hazardous dusts and debris including asbestos, finely divided silica, carcinogens and highly active pharmaceutical products.
Our hire fleet of hazardous dust vacuum cleaners are equipped with three stages of filtration.
When you hire one of our Type H asbestos removal or hazardous dust vacuum units the first stage is to place inside a sealable disposable paper bag. These are supplied when you hire a machine and come in either packets of 10. Also available are single bags when you hire a specialist hazardous unit for a shorter period.
The second stage is a high efficiency cloth filter that is specially designed as a pre-filter material for HEPA filters. The old filter is removed when you have used the machine and the paper bag is full. You then replace the new cloth filter and vacuum off the old one, placing to one side for later use. There are 2 filters with all our hire fleet machines.
The third stage is an oversized HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) cartridge filter. All our hire units are sealed, and the cartridges are returned to Mth for decontamination and re-certification before the machine is hired out again.
Every Type H vacuum cleaner on our hire fleet, in accordance with legislation, is individually DOP tested on calibrated test equipment. This achieves a filtration efficiency of greater than 99.997%.
Please note that it is our client's responsibility to carry out a risk assessment and decide any hazard the area presents. Our hire fleet is comprehensive and we can provide both electric and air driven versions for hire.
All Type H vacuum cleaners are re-certified when they are returned, and off hired, which is either chargeable or built in to the price depending on the hire Term.
