Winners of the HAE 'Hire Industry Website of the Year'
MTH are delighted to announce that they are winners of this year's Hire Awards of Excellence which were announced at a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony in London.

Here at MTH we're always looking for new and innovative products for hire, these include the new wheelie bin cleaning machine, mobile hot water jetters and bowser mounted pressure washers and pump out vacs, to name just a few.
MTH are proud to announce their membership of HAE
Hire Association Europe (HAE) is the official body, which represents the Hire and Rental Industry throughout Europe and currently boasts membership of over 3000 hire & rental outlets.
The Association is unique in that it brings together the diverse sectors involved in hire. Current membership includes suppliers and manufacturers from the tool and equipment; plant; audiovisual; catering and leisure; and portable sanitation hire sectors. The HAE and its members all work together to promote and protect the Hire and Rental Industry and improve industry standards.
Floods in Chesterfield and Sheffield
The recent unexpected burst of wet weather across the UK has meant that several local areas including Chesterfield and Sheffield were hard hit under flood conditions.
The recent flooding has meant we've seen many homes and businesses affected by the ingress of water. Like many hire companies. MTH struggled to provide the volume of hire equipment that was needed in the Derbyshire and South Yorkshire areas. We have been inundated with enquiries for pump out vacuums and wet pick up vacuums to remove the water, heaters and dehumidifiers to dry the premises out and scrubber dryers, steam cleaners, carpet and upholstery cleaners to help businesses clean up after the flood damage.
Meadowhall Shopping Halted
Meadowhall, on the outskirts of Sheffield, is one of the UK's leading shopping and leisure destinations with a choice of over 270 stores, cafés and leisure attractions all under one roof.
Meadowhall was severely damaged by the floods after the River Don burst its banks leaving the centre's lower mall under water, and with cars floating in the lower car parks. As soon as the waters began to recede, MTH were contacted to assist with the mammoth mopping-up operations. They have hired out numerous items of specialist industrial cleaning equipment including pump out vacs, water pumps, wet vacuum cleaners and scrubber dryers for the clean up operation.
Asbestos removal in Luton
A block of flats in Luton that was due for demolition was found to contain asbestos on some of the ceilings and covings. This would normally involve a complicated and costly exercise of containment and disposal of the dust and debris. However as the flats were due to be demolished, the contractors were able to use a Hot Water High Pressure Jetter supplied by MTH instead.
London based company come to MTH for a hire specialist jetter
A Mobile Jetter has been supplied to a London based specialist contractor for the removal of plaster and coving. The unit and accessories MTH supplied removed the debris quickly and efficiently ensuring another satisfied customer.
Clean up takes the biscuit
While all bakeries and food environments have regular and meticulous clean up operations, it doesn't always go to plan. A nationally renowned bakery recently contacted MTH to supply extra equipment after several of their own machines were affected during recent flooding. MTH came to their rescue with the hire of a mixture of more than 20 scrubber dryers, vacuums and pumps while the company replaced or repaired their own vital cleaning equipment.
